Enhanced Disclosure

This level of check is available for persons working within roles that require frequent close contact to children and vulnerable adults working within specified settings, such as schools and care homes. An enhanced disclosure will show all spent and unspent criminal convictions, warnings and reprimands. Enhanced disclosure will also show information disclosed at the police chief officers own discretion. The check will also show child and adult barred list information when applicable to the job that they are applying for.

Standard Disclosure

Standard level checks are for persons working within certain regulated positions such as financial, legal and gaming. A standard level check will show spent and unspent criminal convictions, warning and reprimands.

Basic Disclosure

Basic level checks are available to any person for any purpose and there does not need to be a specific job role to obtain the check. Individuals can apply without going through an employer.
